    Configuring My Auction Search to work with Firewall and Security Programs
    Some firewall and security programs, such as Norton Anti-virus or Norton Internet Security, may prevent My Auction Search from accessing the internet. If this happens, you will have to configure the firewall or security program to allow My Auction Search to use your internet connection.

    Sometimes the following dialog box can appear when running My Auction Search for the first time. If this happens, click Run to continue using My Auction Search.

    An example configuration for My Auction Search in Norton Internet Security 2005 is shown below.

    Searching a Specific eBay Sub-Category:
    Make your searches always look within a specific eBay sub-category by selecting the eBay category number as an option in your search.

    1. Edit the search options for one of your a searches.
    2. Click on the option "Enter a specific eBay category number".
    3. Click on the "Lookup eBay Category" button.
    4. Find the category or sub-category you want.
    5. Enter the category number and name.
    6. Click OK
